Roy Carrier - "Hey Little Girl"

Roy's cousin, Zydeco king Clifton Chenier, taught him the accordion, but Roy's musical education almost ended at 15, when he got his hand caught in the belt of an old water well. He left the hospital minus his right index finger not knowing if he ever would be able to play music again. It took two years, but he learned how to play all over again using nine fingers. This is one of four songs recorded live at Chick Hall's Surf Club in Maryland on a rare visit to the East Coast.

Mojo and the Bayou Gypsies - "Take Me To The Zydeco"

Mojo and the Bayou Gypsies are talented & joyful entertainers with deep roots in the Southwest Louisiana traditions. Their sets are electrifying from beginning to end, and amazingly pull audiences right into their songs. Literally, as you can see in this track, the crowd can't stay still. We've seen a lot of great bands from Louisiana, but Mojo and company are as good as it gets. www.redhotmojo.com

Mojo and the Bayou Gypsies - "Rock The House Tonight"

Mojo throws it down from the first note at this Rosebud theater performance. There's not a still foot in the house as his band of gypsies lays down this groove straight from Louisiana. There's no mistaking that these guys are the real deal. Check out Mojo online at www.redhotmojo.com

Mojo and the Bayou Gypsies - "Down to Luzianne"

This amazing track transends the usual Zydeco groove to create another level of Lousiana music: "Red Hot MOJO Music". The subtle transitions to melodic minor melodies and a vituoso performance from Phil "The Thrill" Roach on fiddle make this track stand out as a must have recording. This Louisiana "Wrecking Crew" features Kevin The Drummer on percussion, Eddie K on bass, Tee John Moser on drums, Zydeco T Carrier, on Frottoir (Rubboard) and "Mister Mojo" on vocals and Cajun accordion leading this runaway groove.
